Kemat Belgium celebrates 25 years of supplying polybutenes to customers around the world. Having built up our expertise in the supply of additives to the lubricants industry, we have expanded over the years to supply a wide range of additives to a diverse customer base.
Our centralised distribution centre handles bulk tank containers, IBC’s and drum packaging, resulting in a quick and efficient supply of high quality certified polybutene.
About Polybutenes
Polybutenes are a group of synthetic clear liquid polymers of butenes, obtained by selective polymerisation of the isobutylene contained in the butene-butane stream.
The main characteristics are the broad range of viscosities (from 5 Cst @ 37.8C to 14,000 Cst @ 100C). This reflects the variation on molecular weights which range from 250 to around 4500.
